The mission of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
Chartered in 2019, Gem City ABWA meets in the great Dayton, Ohio area. The members have varied skills and backgrounds in their respective professions. They come together in monthly meetings to grow, learn and support other members.
Benefits
Members of ABWA have access to online learning opportunities. Leadership, process improvement, and many other skills can be learned and/or strengthened. Larger learning events and conventions are offered at a reduced cost to members.
ABWA has a history of offering scholarships to advance the careers of its members. Whether going back to school for a degree or gaining new business skills, there are opportunities available.
Leadership opportunities provide experience for members that is invaluable. As a nationwide organization, there are positions for all skillsets and a chance to venture into something new.
